Enter Italian comedian, Beppe Grillo.Grillo’s protest movement, Movimento, sets out to install di- rect democracy and revolutionize the political system from within. In February 2013, they win 25% of the Italian vote and send 163 new and completely inexperienced senators to Parliament. The vote tips the balance between left and right and Grillo’s movement gains a potentially crucial role in relation to the future of Italy and Europe and to the future of democracy as we know it.

    This film is an environmental case study of the Valley of Mexico as it struggles to save itself while its population grows.
